Pacing

So the weekend has gone pretty well. My eye is all better. The reception Friday night was very nice. The memorial on Saturday was lovely and I had no trouble with my speaking. That was followed by a two-hour luncheon, which was pretty nice and gave me a chance to catch up with my sister and cousins. I knew that Saturday night reception was going to kick my butt, though. That's just one more event than I usually plan. But we went and it went as well as it can at the tail end of such things. I was so sore coming home that I could barely walk into the house! I took a nice long rest, then a nice hot bath to relax my muscles, then off to bed. I didn't sleep great. I woke with a migraine around 4am--probably brought on by the overdoing it. So i took much meds and slept in and it finally stopped around 4pm. I got my quiz taken and my homework finished this afternoon and I can totally relax tomorrow.
I hope y'all have a great sleep tonight and a lovely day tomorrow. If any of you watching this have served or are vets, I thank you for your service.

I\'m glad you got through it all. Although it sounds like the migraine might have been \"payback.\" I\'m glad you were able to speak at the memorial. I tried to speak at my cousin\'s memorial and I basically cried uncontrollably through the whole thing. I have no problem with crying, but what annoyed me was my physical inability to stop the crying so that I could speak. That has not happened much before. I blame CFS! I like to blame CFS for everything that goes wrong :) Love you.

I know what you mean. It\'s so much easier to blame cfs. I did cry some, but got through it. Mysister cried more, so I felt better. how moronic is that? lol
