Owies!
So, I've been stressed over the past week and when AF didn't show up as usual a few days after finishing the progesterone pills, I started to worry. All my tests showed BFNs, so I was more worried about the stress throwing off this cycle and possibly killing my chances to take the Letrozole. Probably unwarranted stress and worry, but it was there. Last night DH and I were in good moods though and got kinda playful (in a non-sexual way) for the first time in months. At one point last night we decided that sex was the answer to our stress and yay for spontaneous fun times!
I remembered that in the past, when AF was late, sex sometimes spurs her into visiting. This time was no different. There was nothing last night, but I woke up this morning cramping bad enough to feel uncomfortable, but not enough for a lot of pain. When I checked, sure enough, AF is here. She's only a couple of days late, so I'm not worrying about it anymore.
I still need to call my REs office back though. I was talking to my mum over the weekend and realized that I forgot to ask the nurse about the OTHER part of the blood tests that my RE ordered. Since I'm so overweight and Diabetes runs in my family, he wanted to test my blood sugars. He did a long term test, but I completely forgot to ask about those results, I think the whole 'did not ovulate' thing threw me off. I'm going to call today and ask. I hope it's good, I've never had any issues with my blood sugars in the past.
My mum wants me to push for extra testing to see if I'm insulin resistant though. She's the type of person that hears something 'new' that supposedly works and gets all gung-ho for it. The latest thing she heard, from a coworker no less, was that there's a GYN who puts her patients with PCOS on Metformin to control their insulin (as most of them are insulin resistant apparently) and usually within 3 months of being on a low glycemic diet and low dose Metformin the patient finds themselves pregnant. So of course, my mother is all gung-ho for this and is bugging me every time she talks to me about getting myself put on Metformin. I know she's just trying to help, but I can't help feeling like I want to smack her upside the head and yell "STOP!". It's hard enough to sort through my feelings on everything and the direction I want to take without her adding to things! I mean, she's still stuck on the fact that my left tube is blocked and my RE doesn't want to try to clear it! She's of the opinion that he should and I'm going 'but it increases my chances of having an ectopic pregnancy! I don't want that!', I just wish she didn't get so gung-ho about these things!
EDIT: I finally got through to my RE's office and my A1c (the blood sugar test) came back normal! Yay! Oh and today is CD1, so in 4 days I get to start the Letrozole... woohoo! So hoping this works!

Yay for AF finally showing up, and for normal blood sugars! I love how everyone has the cure for everything...oh, take this pill, go to this doctor, have sex upside down during a full moon...it\'s so difficult when people who have never been in your shoes try to give you advice.
I know you\'ve been down lately, I hope you\'re doing well!
Good Luck! I hate how AF plays with us like that!
kDeezy, I\'m doing better today than I was last week, I\'ve realized that there\'s no point stressing over things I can\'t change/can\'t control. It\'s hard to let go of the stress/worry, but I\'m going to work on it.
And thank you LMWT! AF can be a cooky old bitty sometimes and a downright bitch at other times for me, so I\'m glad she finally showed up! One less thing to worry about, even if I do have bad cramps! lol
