Overwhelmed
Monday Scott took a fall in his power chair. I should have been behind him and not in front of him. He went off the curb. this happened at the nursing home. A lady by the door ran in to get help while I stayed with Scott. He was not hurt badly. Just a cut on his elbow. A lot of people came running to help him. Once he was back in his room they checked him over and he was fine. He dosed off after everyone left. I left about 20 mins later. But I felt so bad about it. Everyone said there was nothing you could do or you could have gotten hurt. He now has to go back into training to go outside.
On top of that I'm getting papers to do this and do that concerning him being in the nursing home. Medicaid wants so much info it drives me crazy and hopefully I am doing it all right. A bill came in and I talked to the lady and she said $50 a mo is ok to send. Hopefully Scott will be ok with that. Now he is paying 2 nursing homes. Hopefully he gets medicaid. So much paper work!
thursday I go to the gyn. I'm sure he will want more tests but I will know more once I get there. My sister is going with me.

What happened with Scott was an accident and definitely not your fault. I'm glad that he wasn't hurt. I hope your appointment goes well on Thursday. I'm glad that you don't have to go alone. You'll be in my thoughts and prayers that day. Hugs, Judy
I echo judy, the accident with your brother was not your fault. Must have been upsetting for you both.
I hear you about getting papers in order for insurance..its too much stress.

the bike ride sounds great. hope scott gets better. can he ever leave the nursing home, or is that it? one of the girls on here lives in an assisted living, and she loves it, so some of them must be okay? do you go on facebook as well? what happened with your doctor? xxoo appointment?
