Today Im starting my journal been wanting to do this for awhile now since they told me I had RA back in December 08 ,went to gp office almost in tears not knowing what is wrong with me he listened and ran a bunch of blood work that day ,he called me 2 days later and told me the news and to make a dr appt with dr Tan she is are only Rheumatiod Dr in Alaska in Anchorage which is 350 miles away. I live in North Pole Alaska which is 12 miles from Fairbanks Alaska I grew up here moved up here when I was 7, I have three adult girls which are all wonderfull and doing great my youngest born with spina bififda she has had many surgeries in Seattle she is now a freshmen in collage very proud of her. I have been divorcred since 1994 and raising them myself. I'am 48 and a speical education teachers aid for many years. Back to the first few months of my DX she first started me on MTX oral meds for about 2 monthsthat was not working to well saw her again she started me on injections.
