Outschool.... ???

I interviewed for Outschool today. It was really not much of an interview, but they asked me questions and I asked them questions. I will get an email in a few days to see if I am a good candidate. I don't know why I wouldn't be. I've already been on an online format for more than 2 years. 

I watched a small vid on intro vids and I think I will start there.... and charge nothing. I will be charging nothing as it is ... 

I was thinking of intro vids that I could do... short and simple and fun for a wide range of ages... to get me used to the Zoom platform and meet kids. I am not looking forward to working w/ American kids... 

But... I am looking forward to working in my online classroom, writing curriculum and having something purposeful to do. I have been literally LOST since not doing VIPKid... but there is much more $$$ in my bank account. In even one month, I can tell a difference. Weird. 

And apparantly it is to be this way for NOW> 

When my husband comes home is when my REAL feelings come forth. 

I told him today... I am lonely, I am LOST, I do not feel purposeful, I am sad, and I am angry. Wow.. that's a lot to process. I told him I am trying to hold up, but even at TOPS I just am not enthused. I feel lost w/o working... I always have... I've been that way all my adult life and longer. I like to work. I like to teach. Just TOPS and AFG are not enough. They are just icing. I need some meat in my life. 

I hate that I have lost my kids... but oh well. 

I will be able to monitor how much I work thru this format. It will be very interesting how it goes. 

No testing. 

Fun things. Crafts. arts. Ukulele. Writing. Novel and character studies. Movie critics. Life skills. Reading. Basic Sign Language. 

It might be very very fun... I can use books as my "guide".. and even get those from the library. I will not be making enough money for it to matter. And I can always give credit. 

ASL is just that ... ASL. 

Uke is just that... Uke. 

tie dying T shirts. Planting herb gardens. Simple yoga. Basic meditation. Learning to schedule your day... 

It sounds interesting and fun. 

I know that  I will make a filing cabinet of the curriculum and Instruction and Curriculum Design are my Master's... so, I like writing curriculum... I've been doing it for years. 

so... we will see. I'm a little more excited about it now that I think about it....
