Outburst
I contacted my manager at Spherion this morning about getting my notebook and valise from Atmos. Told her I needed to go out there to pick it up. She told me I couldn't go, but she would get them for me. And, she told me why I was let go. As you know, I went on the phones for the first time last week. Well, I got frustrated and apparently hit the table saying I couldn't do anything right. Trainers and some of the students were shocked. That's what did me in. So much for wanting to do my job right.

That sounds more like an excuse than an answer to me, but hey, what do i know? If someone gets shocked over someone that is having a bit of a frustrating problem, then they\'re in for a peck of trouble the remainder of their days! Some people are so touchy, and anything spooks them. Personally, i don\'t think they wanted to accept the \"liability\" of an older person withing their ranks. I don\'t know, I haven\'t been there so i could be wrong, but that sounds like something they would come up with to justify them letting you go. I have a perfect example from my work..... there was a really good worker, a young guy that was doing well.... he was due to go back to school so wouldn\'t be around to be their \"go-fer\" and work when they wanted him to.... next thing i heard, he got let go for \"taking too long to gather carts in the parking lot\". We all know the truth, but some employers will use anything they can to get rid of someone to bring someone else in they think would better suit their desires. I\'m sorry you lost your job, but i know there is another, better one out there just waiting in the wings. When the lord closes a door, somewhere he opens a window, right?
