Out with the old, in with the new!

     A big ole Happy New Year....Or so I hope!  I was lucky last night and went to an old friends house to celebrate the evening.  I was surprised that I had the energy, seeing how I worked 3 17 hour days in a row.  I had a great time!  I played Texas Holdem (lost 5 bucks) andgot to see a lot of people I have not seen in over 10 years.  I didn't get drunk, waited until around 4am to make the thirty mile drive back home, figuring most of the drunks would be at home or in jail by then.      On the way home, I thought about how great it was to see everyone and all, but, you can't go back to  the way things were.  Looking at the pictures on his wall and seeing my face amongst a larger percentage of them made me realize how much I have moved on.  Though our times in the past were great, my life now is just as great now, only in a different way. My New Years resolution(s) are to 1). Go totally Vegetarian, and 2). get a working knowledg of all the basic religions.  I hope I will succeed as I feel that I will be a better person if I "stick to my guns" on these.      I hope this New Years brings you all happiness and Love!
