out to eat with j//feeling very sick from a cold//tora is outside now and still soiling inside, who?
i'm battling a cold and feeling absolutely awful. even my teeth hurt. now i have to call k and see if i got this from him, because he gets colds for like two months at a time and i was avoiding going over there because i knew he had been sick over a month ago (i had been as well, first me, then him). he said he was fine. then i noticed when i was there that he was still congested. right now its me though. its so odd, because the normal me, gets very few if any colds. but i think i went through this last year as well.
akj was at the house up north and claims the change of weather is doing it. its very windy lately and rain storms. i need to properly switch my clothes to winter clothes. wish i was down south where its still nice and warm and will be most of the year like the south should be.
it appears that i sold mr's mobile for her today. the couple seems very nice and hopefully his backround check will go well. surprises me that she didn't sweep or re-hang planters before it was shown. i hope me being ill doesn't mess with meeting with the buyer as when i had bronchitis it screwed up henrietta being adopted. by the time i felt well (two weeks later) the adoptor had changed her mind. it happens. mr should really do this herself. i set this sale up for her, and i could be showing him one of the owner of the park's models and getting a commission on it. i know she is in a jam right now. boy does money burn a hole in her pocket.
fed br's colony and the striped cat is back. yay! noticed the new rescue only wants to eat high up (she came from a house with a dog, so i guess that is why). tora is now outside. she soils so its just as well. the irony, mitty was a grey torti and big was black, both had been mostly outdoor animals -- tora is a black torti, kind of like the two in one. robyn is fighting with josie and robyn's eye is watering, so she is upstairs again. louie is beating up britney and part of her fur on her back is gone. am also thinking she is soiling as i noticed soiling is still going on even with tora gone. really need to find out exactly which ones are doing that so i know who to remove and who is or isn't adoptable.
edna wants me to pick up her animals before the holidays, because her granddaughter is coming to visit and has adopted two dogs, which edna doesn't want inside her house. one of edna's rescues needs to be fixed. to be honest, if i stay sick, it will screw up everything, just like having bronchitis did. i also have work to do at storage. if i could have done it all last week as i wanted to, the weather was good as well, but the owner asked me to wait until he was done painting. now its cold again. and now i am sick. she says take my time no rush. but different people mean different things when they say that.
went to bernie's with j for potato pancakes finally. its another oddball place with a huge following. they used to be in the middle of town but moved away from all that and are located next to a bowling alley now in a mall. same following of people, but all of those people are older now. their "all day long" breakfast is now any meal you want until 2 p.m. and then they close and cash only, which is hard to remember. then they have gourmet nights where they have high end food just on certain nights. they cater to their own clientele, have great servers who i guess have always worked there (that alone is fascinating), but don't seem at all concerned with attracting new crowds. the restaurant was mobbed. the clientele, the servers and the owners seem to have all gotten older together i guess. the pictures on the walls are all from the 70's and 80's (and earlier). its interesting, but i haven't found what they make BEST yet, and that is the trick with places like these. its not their potato pancakes though they are known for them. the apple side to go with it, was excellent though.

Good for you selling that mobile, you are so talented and need to find that schooling you need. Another new step into your life.
Sounds like all the cats are doing well. Good luck with trying to figure out which ones are soiling or not. It is difficult with so many.

Gosh with my brain fog tonite, I can\'t keep all the names of people and pets straight in my head. I just hope you feel better so you can do your thing, and sell your mobile, and feed the cat high up, and somebody stops soiling! There...I think I retained more than I though! LOL

lol. not my mobile, mr\'s. that is still in the air. the owner of the park is harrassing her, wants money SHE owes up front before the sale. what he\'ll end up with is another mobile that HE will have to sell. at the moment i am against mobile parks again. lol. i know for a fact, FROM THE OWNER of the park, that they bought the park 15 months ago with the intention of flipping the park into something else. its a prime location. so how about give the people there a break with lot rent etc. as soon as anything looks shady, i\'m not interested. he says to sell mobiles as an agent i just get fingerprinted. no schooling. no test. there is a booklet. mobile homes are governed by the same agency as automobiles. no schooling for selling cars either. surprising because mobiles can cost so much money (more than ordinary houses sometimes). if a park closes where your mobile is, YOU have to move it, and if the park has a you cannot move the mobile rule, then what?
seems to me, mobile parks with club house and swimming pool, are only a good deal, if you get the mobile super cheap or free. it would have to be cheaper than rent or townhome or condo, anywhere else, to be worthwhile. just my opinion.
mr thinks the owner(s) is bipolar because he blows hot and cold all in one conversation and he constantly exagerates, she owes 3 months, he says 4, no matter how often he is corrected. she paid while it was vacant for a year, why don\'t they charge half rent for that or something? i don\'t understand that place at all. but i have never been around that stuff before either.
