out to dinner with j//raked leaves//fed br's colony//cousins from pensacola

picture perfect day in the high 70's, its supposed to stay like this 75 during the day and 55 at night until christmas and then turn down to 48 at night, which around here, that is COLD.
raked out the leaves today.  we get 3 "falls" of leaves in north florida, so calling autumn fall doesn't make any sense.  still lots to do.  i left them in small piles.
fed br's colony and then he called out of nowhere and i told him about the reverse-purchase program that obama has right now.  even if a person over age 62 doesn't want an extra house for themselves they could always get one to use for fostering animals.  the only payment would be tax and insurance....he laughed but i'm serious.  cages are so mean, we don't cage.  a whole house and yard would be great.  demi moore has an extra house (five bedrooms) for her doll collection.  animals are living things....only two animals show up at br's, but he says the others show up when no one is around.
nothing else going on.  have lengthy stuff to add from holidays but i'm putting it in my prompts.  another thing to add to the evil stepsister list of evil deeds (adding a car as well from 1982 and also adding it to the list from the lawyer in south florida that still owes me money from 28 years ago) and more on the town up north.  i always dread contact with the northeast because there is always a lot of crap....though there is always crap in general.  ignoring it doesn't make it not there.  i've gone through superficial stages where i ignore everything and just have a good time.  its wrong.  partying with evil is wrong in general.  i don't really believe in accepting the bad with the good, unless they mean illness when they say that, illness is fine.  evil behavior there is never an excuse for it at all.
before the holidays i ran into my cousins (by blood thanks) and they have their things as well.  i asked them if they were visiting their mom in pensacola and they said no.  visiting florida, maybe pensacola, but not aunt bette, their mother.  lol.  wow.  something else to add to prompts.  always nice seeing them though and rare.  they have been on the west coast for decades now.  i'd love to meet a family one day, that does not have skeletons.  that will never happen.
another thing to dread if i go back to court reporting.  you hear so much crap!  and that was just in criminal court.  i heard family court was much worse and much more depraved than criminal court.  wow!  the whole world is walking around with ptsd.  if i did court reporting in congress, its just changes in the law, nice and dry, i could handle that.  if i did realtime court reporting (closed captioning) for movies, movies are fiction, i could handle that.  real time court reporting the news would be as bad as court reporting in criminal court.  lots of decisions.
saw tm briefly and his girlfriend wants to apply to review videos for college applicants.  hmmmm.  she didn't finish college so will they hire her for that?  its an online job.  the one br's neighbor is doing.  his girlfriend doesn't have ANY certifications in anything and if you ask her what she can do, like even her typing speed she lies, and makes up a speed.  i said to tm, no one is going to hire her, EVER, if what she writes on her application or resume doesn't match her abilities or lack of abilities when they actually test her.  they will resent her wasting their time and toss the whole thing in the garbage - they will also assume a liar is a liar.  if they lie about their abilities, such an easy thing to find out, they probably lie about everything else.
went out to dinner with j to the latest place that won something.  it was good, but not great.  their prices are normal but the portions, even the drink size, is small for the price.  have no idea why they won anything, there is better around here, and now that i just finished reading letters from rivka, where she talks about who her father paid for all different things to get them all out of russia, i wonder to myself, hmmmm who did the restaurant pay to win that?

Temps in the high 70\'s that sounds really nice right now. Its raining and cool here.
I don\'t like seeing animals in cages either. Interesting topic about reverse purchase. Have never heard of it...
Glad the surprise run in with your cousins went well. Lots of skeltons in my families closet sad to say.
court reporting eh?! I don\'t think I could take listening to all that every day either.
Never good to lie. Honesty is always best in my book.
Dinner sounded okay-smallish.Happening more and more. Hugs hon xoxo

Too much stress in that Court Reporting. I love the restaurant business there one day and gone the next. It is like that here.

Good Luck on those Leaves, good exercise too.

Take Care, Love U

OH,the weather sounds wonderful! We\'re having a nice sunny day up North here. In the sixties, instead of the forties! Nice!

You have three tree falls down there? Trying to remember my days in Ft Lauderdale....then again, I was a tenant and didn\'t have to rake leaves, so I don\'t think I was paying much attention!

The court reporting does sound PTSD producing. I can\'t seem to tolerate any type of violence on TV...don\'t wanna hear about it on the radio....it\'s like, what the heck has happened in this world, that people just go on shooting rampages, and it isn\'t safe to let your kid out of your sight anymore??? WTH??? NUTS! Don\'t think I could do the court reporting, but I know there\'s really good money in that field!

Sorry your dining experience was less than gratifying. Sometimes restaurants win stuff because of ambiance, or one particular type of dish that they serve that separates them from other restaurants. It also seems that the more you pay in these places, the smaller the portions. Makes no sense to me, but it\'s the \"high class\" way of eating. Tiny little dishes, made \"just so\" and look pretty, but cost WAY too much.

Had no idea about Demi Moore\'s doll collection. I guess if you have the money, you can buy a house for your dolls! I like your idea much better. Let\'s put some live creatures in the houses, and get them out of the cages! Amen sistah!

i got home this morning (more like afternoon) and all the piles of leaves were gone. two garbage cans sat at the end of my driveway. looks like i will be baking a pineapple upsidedown cake for w. he\'s so great with that. as long as he is not ill, he always helps out. i get more done here since kv IS NOT here than i did, when he was here. while he was here, he would either take credit for others work (why do so many people (especially men) do that? or you have to tell them it needs doing and even then it may not be done. hiring a person to do all that stuff is the easiest way, but lately i kind of enjoy it as long as its not too much. its another new development with me.

Sounds like a perfect temp in Florida.
Families and skeletons.....aren\'t they synonymous?
You sure have some life changing decisions to make, but you can work through the pros and cons of each and come up with what is right for you.
Wishing you all the best with whatever you decide.
