Out of Clinic
I got out of the clinic today. I'm feeling better, not feeling like killing myself anymore and more stable. Sadly, my stomach suffered at the expense of the hospital food. I'm having bad stomach pains and my IBS is in full swing. I've been taking pills all night but nothing is seeming to help. I didn't sleep last night at the clinic because I was having stomach pains as well. I've been home since after lunch, so hopefully by tomorrow I will be back to normal. I'm putting my mood as okay since I feel decent except for my stomach, but my stomach is a big thing.
I ate okay in the hospital. Tomorrow we will see what the damage was with the weight, since I weigh myself in the mornings before I've eaten anything. I tried getting the reduced calorie diet, but it was very hard since the nurses didn't want to give me anything but the regular trays. I did get a diabetic tray for lunch yesterday, which was the same as everyone else's, so I don't know why they labeled it diabetic.
The people there were okay. There were your normal people who just got off course with depression, and then those who talked to themselves. I met this nice woman there, and I gave her my number so hopefully she calls me soon. She lives right down the street from me, so we should be able to hang out. I go by her apartment complex on my walks, so I know I can walk to her place.
I don't have much other stuff to say. I'm not in the novel writing mood, and I just want to go to sleep since I didn't get much sleep last night. In the hospital, they make sure you only get 8 hours of sleep a night- the TV is on loud until 11pm and they wake you for vitals at 7am. Not to mention that I was up for over an hour in the middle of the night with the stomach pain. Oh well, hopefully by this time tomorrow it will just be a memory. Good night.
