Out before Christmas
Don and I lived in the same house for 23 years that we rented from his sister. They let us live here free for the last 3 years, so we could pay medical bills. They helped us out financially and I'll always be grateful... Today I was told by them that I would have to leave, and that I needed to be lifted out of my depression and learn to smile again... I guess trying to find some where to live even though I'm broke and in debt will help me lift my spirits. Don has been gone 10 weeks to the Day. I'm just sick.

I\'m so sorry - how incredibly hurtful.
Oh hiskim, leaving your home of 23 years is going to lift you out of your depression???? I cannot believe that if thay had an ounce of love for your husband and some compassion for you they wouldn\'t try to work something out with you to keep you in your home, and let you get to the point where you are strong enough to make that decision on your own. 10 weeks is nothing, barely over the shock. it will be 11 weeks for me Thursday. and the thought of even washing the sheets on the bed because they smell like him is beyond me at this point. What the hell is wrong with these people except they obviously have never been in your shoes. Such cruelty. Hang in there kiddo and see if you can\'t work something out with them at least until you are stronger. Hugs, Michele
Im so sorry ...I couldn\'t imagine moving out of any home I shared with my husband at 10weeks even if I had a billion dollars...now Christmas is a bit away..so no one is moving this week!!. I don\'t know the laws in your state but I think most have strict laws regarding eviction. And they are not in favor of the owner...so there might be even more time ...sending more hugs
Every time something happens it feels so large and heavy that we don\'t think we can bear it. and then we do... I agree that many people move in the first year and that you will be able to also. big hug-Patti
