Our house
Okay, you all know the condition of our house!
The first night Tim came back, we discussed how and where we might make housing arrangements in the future and Tim told me that he doesn't want to sell our farm, either. He agreed to call a pro to come out, look at the house, see if it can be saved, and estimate the cost if it can be saved.
in the meantime ......... Our son-in-law is a "man about town". He has a lot of friends with a wide range of experiences and talents. One of those friends is a retired carpenter whose career included building houses and saving houses with foundation and structural damage. A few weeks ago, our sil described our house to this friend. The friend said he'd come look at the house, if we wanted. Sil told me ....... I explained to Tim. Tim called sil ...agreed to have friend look at house. Friend came out with sil to visit us.
The house can be repaired and we will do it!!! The friend will help for free ---- to me, this friend is a missionary!!! Saving our house will be a lot of hard work for Tim, but it is the most practical, and far and away the most cost measure we have of having a building in which to live. Whew!!! I love this house ..... Two bathrooms, a 16 x 22 ft. Living room, and so on.
Tim says his mission work plans have to go on hold for 2 or 3 years. In the meantime, I think the Lord will tell him, or me, or us what to do, in His own way and on His own time.

You know God\'s hand is at work in your marriage and what is to come of it! I think that this house \"good deal\" is a way of keeping you two focused on the same thing for a while...something you both want together....and possible this will draw you close enough to be able to work out what each of you really wants and needs from your marriage! God works things out in His time and this is all IN His will because you placed it there. Trust Him now, Nancy!
