oucha-ma-goucha

Last night was painful.  I had been getting the house and beds ready for the volleyball team, made soup for family and cinnamon rolls for team, etc.  Eased myself into an epsom salts bath and went to bed with the creepies from this illness that poke at me with sharp claws.
Managed the new day today at a rather slow pace but I was up and around which is something to be grateful for on any given day.
Surprise.  A realtor that sold our neighbors' house stopped by because she has clients interested in our area and said our neighbors mentioned we might want to sell.  She walked through our house and took pictures.  My son got a little upset about the prospect of moving.  We were just checking on possibilities because finances are so tight.   (making conscious choice to not get depressed thinking about how things would be different if I was working...)
Once the panic of change starts to settle I wonder about what we really need to do, but it all comes down to whether or not we can get a decent deal with something in our pockets to move with.  We aren't listing our house - just letting the realtor talk to her clients to see just how interested they really are.  Heavy sigh.
Sometimes I think a crystal ball would be nice and then I realize I might not like what I see so I need to just wait and deal with life as it happens.
On a show I was watching one of the characters asked another where they thought they would be in life in 5 or 10 years.  Hmmm.  I don't think that way.  One thing this illness has taught me is to simplify, and as others on DS have said:  learn  to live within certain boundaries.  Those boundaries shift, but I am trying to keep hope inside of them.  Might as well be hopeful - who knows what tomorrow will bring?  Always something to be grateful for.
Carry on.
