The Urban Homestead, by proxy, is in the support group headlines today, via a BBC/Canada news article. A painful reminder of the Boom make-over of the humble town this once was. I hate having to relearn the city every time I leave the driveway. Austin was barely a city when I gave birth to my sons here and the personal freedoms of the Texas have been buried by all the world's best lit law-lovers in the name of Progress. Progress is as good a name for ^it^ as any. Are we safe yet? I miss Texas. I miss Texas.
Yet another East Coast hug. . . Lucky us. . . 40 years of Boom State politics have taught me to never should a shoulder. Gnashing teeth in silence once more. Sigh. . . At least I get to vent about it here. I think. . . Let's see what the troll patrol has to say about it.

Vent away Arfie. I haven't seen the article because my desktop took a dump today. Actually I just think it's the video card that took a dump but either way I can't open several Pages like I normally do. As for trolls there are the shittiest shoulders there are. And if they are over zealous report them. If they just don't get it, but this is a group for support, hit the ignore button a few times or block them.
Up until yesterday I was actually here quite a bit but my hands are too sore to type. But now that my screen is not working I'm having to use the talk-to-text it's actually easier but I sound really funny talking to myself. Hugs of support. J.
