OpTic Gaming signs 'six-figure' book deal with Harper Collins

OpTic Gaming, one of the most popular eSports brands, has signed a book deal with publishers Harper Collins reportedly worth 'six figures'.The book, titled 'OpTic Gaming: The Making of eSports Champions' is set to release on April 26 for $17.99 in Paperback or $12.99 as an e-book.The team has forged itself as the most recognisable brand synonymous with eSports after unparalleled success in the Call of Duty eSports scene, although they have recently expanded to a buy csgo keysteam as well.According to ESPN's sports business reporter Darren Rovell, the deal was signed with a 'six-figure advance' paid to the team members of OpTic Gaming's CoD side.Harper Collins lists the book as an inside look into the lives of the current CoD roster, including Matthew "Nadeshot" Haag who retired from the team eight months ago.
