OPIONS PLEASE
Well the 2nd homestudy was cancelled, cool she had an emergency. Rescheduled for another week. In the meantime, I keep looking at photo listings on adoptuskids ....... I am totally in love with a sibling set of 3. All have a gorgeous infectious smiles and things in common with one or both of us. My wife wants only to foster. I am 51 (slight illness) for Christ sake, I am in a hurry! After all we've been trying for @11 years. We've finally gotten the all important supposed lost documents needed to finally push Homestudy forward! Anywhooooo, my idea of family is a full house. Kids fighting loving learning and most of all Entertaining me. Visit nieces n nephews in Co., I hate leaving them and their silly ways. In fact I learn more from children. I have one grown estranged daughter, whom "long story short" my mother stole her from me many many moons ago. I am not impressed with the way she raised her "pretentious & materialistic".
I do desire any opions y'all might have......

Loved your journal and from what you said I believe you are ready to adopt. I adopted a teen 9 years ago and I am proud of the adult she has become. My husband and I are in month 3 with a 3 year old foster child. We are in our early forties and thought we might to 'old' for a 3 year old boy, so when you mentioned your age it helped with my doubts. Wish you luck on your journey to adopt.
At wife's aunts for a big Mother's Day BBQ. I dreaded it, as I am not being recognized by own daughter. Sunglasses on all day with tears seeping out, secretly. I played actually ran around the yard with all the kids 1yr-11yrs........ This was the only time I wasn't crying!
All the moms got gifts, not me. Wish wife would of bought me a birdbath or something. I made a card for her from our 3 hairy kids. Nothing for me
