Opera

One of my Daily Strength "pen pals" sends me Youtube links of great opera singers. I listen and these artists sooth my soul. I studied Opera (many, many years ago), only sang for children's theatre, and still regret that I did not pursue a career.  I was very talented, but I remember suffering with horrific stage-fright that prevented me from performing more often. The stage fright even prevented me from auditioning to music colleges that I wanted to attend. Think back, and I so lament that I had so little self-confidence as a young woman. But you can not go back, only forward to remember the disappointments of youth. Unfortunately I lost that lovely soprano instrument, as I did not practise or use it.

Sammycat2 music does calm us. I bet you were awesome. I have no musical talent at all but I love to listen.
I like the blues. Etta James, BBKing.
I was so shy I froze in front of the entire drama class. Then so embarrassed I dropped that class.
