Opening Night
Opening night of the play was tonight! It wasn't a complete train wreck, we did pretty well but backstage we always find little things that no one else even noticed so it wasn't so fantastic to us. My momma brought me flowers(:
But thee WEIRDEST thing happened... I was... Nervous. I have only been nervous one time in my life and for a pretty pointless reason. I just don't get nervous. Anxious, yes. But never nervous. Then I remembered, I have never done a show without cutting before. I would "have to go to the bathroom" before I put my costume on or I would put makeup on my thighs before I showed up for call. I'm not sure if that was it, that cutting was made it okay, but I just know I didn't like the feeling. My stomach felt like it was trying to crawl out of my body.
