open to change
I do believe change always happens, however I believe big change that last must be facilitated by being open. I mean being open to things that I could not possibly imagine. I do not thinkk that I can see , hear or imagine this by listening to my own minds thoughts and the conversation of my thoughts and fears that are constantly running in my head. It takes stopping and listening on a consistant basis, then and only then, for me do I see and hear and get the guidance that I need. Slowing my life down, not filling every moment with phone conversation, tv, time with friends , reading, music, food or whatever it is that clutters and keeps my mind full at all times. I do however think that exposing myself to some form of spiritual growth on a daily basis is good, usually through reading. I believe it is also important to nurture emotional growth, sometimes that involves going to the past and walking through it to get a better understanding but not staying in the past, letting go of the hurt at some point.I think it is possible to dwell in the house of victimhood, and possibly never move. Nurture my physical, take a walk, run, bike. What I put in my body affects my mood. For me touch is important, I do not get it by many people, but thats cool. I get hugs from those I trust. I realize the largest personal and spiritual growth that I have had in my life is when I have this type of balance. It creates excitement and enthusiasm in my life and that is when I have the life that I really love to live. I realize that I have not been this for a while , but I have had it enough that I know it well and want it back. When I am the person that people ask, "are you always happy".You can tell that people like to be around you and are drawn to you. I know I have this inside me, Therefore I know that we all own it. Anyway here is a big hug for everyone. Wish me luck for this day and I will for you. Eric
