OOPS I did it again...
I wound up spending half my day off in doctor's offices (family then eye surgeon). I got the final approval to have my first surgery done on Nov 2nd. I could not wait to get home and grabbed a few bags of groceries (nonperishable) I got earlier. I promptly went sailing on some wet grass and FELL AGAIN.
This time no major damage. A scraped knee, very tender shoulder and a very bloody nose... but nothing done to the eyes this time. I am taking FMLA for 5 weeks during recovery of both surgeries..... just praying I last that long to see them. I am currently in and out of a funk. I know I have things to look forward to, but am having such incredible obstacles to get there. I am ashamed to say I have had moments where I wish I were the one who passed in January instead of hubby. Not to worry... I am still hanging in and toughing it out. I miss everyone here... and do wish I could give and receive those hugs.

your surgery is on my birthday......Nov. 2......you little devil....Hehehe
sorry you slipped and fell again.....I hate to fall....I try to roll with the falls....but it is not always that easy....I have not caused any major bleeding issue when I have fallen...bruises but not bloody clothing....
Good luck with your surgery. It should go quite well. I don't know anyone who ever had bad luck with caterack surgery. Nowadays, it's high tech and pretty routine.
Try not to think about falling. The negative vibes could be creating more of the same. That's called the law of attraction.
.......I was just going to share a story about something similar that happened to me but I changed my mind lol. I don't want to jinx myself!
~~~Peace~~~
Wishing you all the best with everything. Hope you recover well and quick. Hugs!!!
Hang in there . I am always here for you.
Took my dad for his cataract plus surgery and it went well.
Do we need to get you a special persons helmet?
One thing at a time is what I think you need to practice.
I think I need a helmet....and my bubble wrap back. :)
Slow down Haste makes Waste.....accidents usually happen when one is rushing and not in the moment but distracted..Good luck with surgery,,,,,Hugs..
Dang girl! Slow down!!
I bet when these surgeries are behind you, things will feel more settled down.
