Ooppps I did it again
So this over 35 and dating again after a divorce business is for the birds. I am so tired of rejection, so tired of being told I have issues that need to be fixed. This last instance I was called a project that they guy didn't need right now. Yes, I suffer from depression and anxiety. I make it to the first date, manage through it pretty well, and then it starts. The waiting afterwards. Do you play the 3 day wait game? Pretending you are busy and even though you used to talk everyday, now that you have met you just don't have time to do so? That whole concept to me just seems completely lame. Why does it turn into a game? So I gamble and send a friendly hello text. Wait a day, no answer. Send another one. Everything okay? Wait a day, no answer. This invariably goes on until finally my anxiety turns my brain to liquid and I end up going off spilling out all of my inner self concious and fabricated ideas as to why he won't answer and what I have done wrong. I don't know how to fix this. It happens every stinking time. Should I just handcuff myself to a pole somewhere so I can't reach my phone? Why the damn game? Why do I suck at playing it? I guess everyone is right. I have issues. But isn't there someone out there with demons that will play well with mine?
