Onward V

The aimless weekend felt medicinal for all. The dirt piles that were brought in for the base of the manufactured house pad were the entertainment highlight of the weekend. Even baby sis managed to make it almost halfway up one of the piles. Big Bro and Big Sis conquered all 6 piles with childish gusto.

Certainty isnae ever justy with this multi-generational communications blockage, but I believe Hubs and I managed to make some headway in making "Bachelor Hall" safe to talk about between us. My own primary goal there is to let a fact be a fact, all the way to how much power we have over the affairs of middle aged bachelors, even when they are living rent free in property we have ownership responsibilities for and buying the groceries contributing to their still inflating waistlines.

The handover between Hubs and the former farm handy seemed go well enough. The children and I didn't even have to say hello to the enigmatic character and Hubs looked calm and confident when he found us at the dirt piles to tell me the honey supers (boxes) from the city would be delivered this coming Friday afternoon before the man goes to collect his 7 year old daughter from her foster home on the other side of the metroplex.

The first of the school winter vacations is quickly approaching and still no word from the other grandparent house or their lawyer on the visitation schedule. Doing my best not to worry the subject or feed my fears of legal snake attacks. Que sera sera. There remains a part of me that hopes they *win* and I can *simply* walk away from this slimey dance. It looks ridiculous enough when played by ex-lovers. I donae care to do the research to gain insights to how the game is played between dueling grandparents. Inheriting a son's 3 children is hard enough without taking on his lawyer loving in-laws in the process. I love these children dearly, but enough is enough. One body only goes so far. Should our son's in-law's lawyers *win* I believe I can walk away from *their* victory.

Despite all the loose ends from Music City, the morning energies here on the farm feel calm and ready for another Monday wake up. Big Sis has already joined my morning meditations, right on schedule by last week's clock. An hour early for this week's. Onward through the fog. I believe the five of us are holding steady at Not Worse.

God Bless you Arfie and all under your roof. Praying that Not Worse will have many more glimmers of joy, yesterday's climbing the dirt piles brought to All with a bit silly behavior laughter from GK's.....you just continue to blow me away, finding a way through~~with pushing up those life dirt piles to create new pathways.

When J went into the hospital he had no insurance, he'd not filled out the papers... we had 3 er visits, 7 days hospital stay, then rehab for 3 weeks. I was chewing my nails and pulling out my hair at the thought he'd be stuck with bills for all! Silence and more silence....new papers were filled and submitted...silence....this silence remains and by now rumbles of 'we want our money' have not come from hospital or rehab. Thanking God all worked out.....as with IL's lawyer, I pray that the silence will bring the same....all will be taken care of behind the doors of legaliezzzzzzzz and be the least disruptive in GK's lives and your life, as IL 'live what they want to have happen'.

Like you often write, their's to sort.
Ya didn't cause it, cant control it, and can't cure it

Prayers for All's Highest Good

Big hug for you Arf and I agree enough is enough...… They should WANT you to have all that you might need for the children and funds for their future.... I think they're being really sleazy to tell you the truth

I hope that you will have a good and peaceful Monday sweetie.... You and your family remain in my prayers......xo

Thanks guys. Prayers in progress that Hubs and I are doing well at *not* pushing back. Both children have free access to make as many phone calls as their heart's desire and the on-going reassurance that it is up to Grandma and Grandpa when they will come and get them. For the children, the emphasis on the other grandparents providing their own pick up and delivery is subtle. So far as I know, the other grandparents are expecting delivery service and that's not gonna happen. My dislike for that world-league tourist trap is still growing.

Support for not pushing back. The courts and CPS have the decisions in their hands. Praters continuing.

Hugs, support & love Arfie.

Courts aren’t fun & I’ve noticed it gets under the skin even when it seems to go smoothly.

Continued wishes of luck, Arfie. Hugs & love
