Onward?
I am sincerely grateful for GD's (Grand Daughter's) presence this morning. Babies are my most trusted emotional baramoters. No pretense, what-so-ever. Their sense-response ratio is faster than any monitoring device I have ever designed. Engineering sciences still only dream of achieving such comprehensive monitoring systems. Politicians are still pushing for it, but. . . Good luck with that, Ma'am/Sir. Feel free to present the fact to suit your own needs and perspectives.
Technical difficulties added some frustration to notifying YS (youngest son) of his grandfather's passing. By the time that got sorted, GD was crying in her crib. Daddy was concerned about that, but I assured him I would tend his daughter immediately after we finished our discussion. I was grateful for GD's encouragement to stick to the needed facts. She settled quickly after I took her out of the crib, but there was no way she was going back to sleep. Okay by me. I wasn't sleepy any more, either.
J. was mostly packed for departure by the time GD and I got around to checking on him. My literally big man was looking tightly wound enough that I wasnae sure we should interrupt, but he finished his task, put down his e-toy and started wiggling his fingers Gampy style. GD responded with delight and nearly lept into his arms. Code 3 medicine?
By my theory, my little monitoring system is signalling that all is as it should be. She is sitting in the stroller, dancing and singing a delightful song.

A happy little girl is best medicine:-)
Absolutely.
My heart is with you, literally, as you go through this time...
I'm glad you have your adorable grand children there. Their happiness and joy is definitely therapeutic and relaxing.
A child's love and laughter is like a helicopter dog tail wag. Such happiness, love and pure honesty...doesn't get much better. hugs
