Only Tuesday
While I'm working I have alot of things to think about. It is near 80 deg outside but I have my space heater on to drown out the country music playing over the radio. I think those sad songs might drive me over the edge. (Theres more to the country music thing)-but I won't go into it.
Ive been thinking alot about my future. I am sitting here thinking about possibly moving out of state...but where would I go?
I hear Arizona is nice all year around but Ive never been there. A goal might be for me to save up as much money as possible-say 5000.00 over the next year and make it a goal to relocate where I can find work. Of course, Ive got research to do. Ive heard taxes are high. I've had enough of "Sunny Florida". Florida has not been sunny for me at all. Might be time for a change of scenary.

I have friends and family in North Carolina near the ocean and they love it there..... Most are retired though so I have no idea what the job situation is now....probably won't be good until the coronavirus leaves us..
Many Americans are going to other countries. Some of them travel the world and support themselves and finance their travels by documenting their trips making you tube videos! There are a few that I follow. The more viewers they get, the more money, you tube pays you. That could be your dream job if you love to travel!

One of my favorite therapy tools is a game I call, "Where In The World Can I Go Next?" The therapist who helped me refine this game from my childhood encouraged me to think of these escape fantasies as, "Your Safe Place." The Great Lakes were my last round of this game. I ended up relocating to the River Region, but the tour of The Great Lakes was quite cathartic and rich in folklore and history. The River Region didn't win by much and didn't save me from getting roped back to The Dust Bowl again. Who says God doesn't have a sense of humor? I still have my Pirate's Den in the River Region, though, about 30 miles from where the Ohio meets the Mississippi. I still wanna be a river pirate when I grow up. Behave yourself, Huckleberry. Chief Paducah is patrolling the riverways and got her eye on you.
Anyhoo. . . Long distance job hunting is part of that game. What's the point of moving to yet another place where I can't seem to get a break? Employers will often even help with relocation expenses. If you are thinking a year ahead (Yay you! ! !), you might have a moment or two to try out that little game. Or not. . . Just brain farting. . . Ply gas mask, if needed.
