Only A Cat May Stare At A King
Inga had sent me some cute cat sleeping pics... and it reminded me of a funny I wanted to share with yall.
Years ago I had a cat named Frosty.... I confess I spoiled Frosty pretty badly... so badly that at one point my home became overrun with these little bitty mice... Hey Frosty felt no need to do anything about it... I was feeding him canned cat food twice a day and keeping dry cat food available for him the rest of the time in case he got a little bit hungry... The miceies moved in Frosty's diet got changed... and he started doing what cats are supposed to do...
Anyhoo... that wasn't the story I started to tell... So Frosty was pretty spoilt... my sister in law, who really didn't like pets in general especially house pets... and didn't think any normal person did either I guess was visiting me. It was in the winter and quite cold... several inches of snow on the ground... I'd see Wilma's face kind of tighten every time she noticed Frosty... and actually I was just a bit amused... I knew she was having a hard time not saying anything about that nasty cat in the house... Hee Hee Hee.... Finally she couldn't refrain... she just had to say something... but she was diplomatic about it... she said, "I bet you'll be glad when it warms out and you can put that cat outside! Well... my cat had the run of the house... cold or hot... but I didn't say anything... I was a little irked that she should be commenting on my house but oh well... the next day as it happened Frosty fell asleep at the end of my bed with his head on a baby pillow I had there from Cara's baby years... About that time here comes Wilma... Oh my... I just knew she'd think it was the outside of too much... that cat... sleeping on the bed... with his head on a pillow.... Oh my goodness... but... sometimes I just can not resist... I just got to amp it up... so... I got Cara's crocheted baby blanket from the closet shelf and laid it over the cat... When Wilma saw that cat with its head on the pillow covered with a baby blanket.... oh her face... it was priceless... talk about sucking lemons.... LMAO..... shame on me... I truly loved Wilma... when we meet up yonder I fully expect her to slap me hard for still laughing over that... but I am....
I hope yall are having blessed moments. Hugs Elissa Cara's Mom For Always
