Oneday

Dearest,
Terrorists were here! Two two-year-old terrorists! I left a bowl of Hershey’s hugs on the coffee table, there would have been less damage if I’d left out a bowl of live grenades! When they left there was furniture to be re-assembled, phones and remotes to be found, plants to be repotted, flashlights to be found, re-assembled, and new batteries to be installed. I found pieces of banana in the weirdest places. The light switches need to be cleaned and some vacuuming needs to be done.
The “sugar bowl” drama is over! Kristin found it at Target, I knew they carried it but there is no store anywhere near me and they don’t sell them online.
            I have had a busy day but that sadness that lives in the dark corners of my mind is lurking there still. This has been with me all damn day;
I walk this land of broken dreams I have visions of many things Happiness is just an illusion Filled with sadness and confusion, What becomes of the broken hearted Who had a love that's now departed? I know I've got to find Some kind of peace of mind Maybe. The fruits of love grow all around But for me they come a tumblin' down. Every day heartaches grow a little stronger I can't stand this pain much longer I walk in shadows Searching for light Cold and alone No comfort in sight, Hoping and praying for someone to care Always moving and going no where Oh, all is lost, there's no place for beginning, All that's left is an unhappy ending. Now what's become of the broken-hearted
Tell Me! Tell Me Please!
I have to go rebuild the house now, and get ready for work tomorrow, maybe take a nap, those terrorists wore me out.
Click if you dare!

Till the snow stops falling, Your Ken
PS; It was supposed to be "Mostly Sunny" today. I need that weather guy to get his butt over here and shovel all this "Mostly Sunny" out of the driveway!

Hi Ken,

You are a very funny man! Thanks for making me chuckle. I enjoy your posts... even though there is still pain in our lives, it is great to see the moments of joy and light.
The 2 year old terrorists, sound adorable!! How many were there?
I also enjoyed your shoveling the \'mostly sunny\" out of the driveway. Man.. you have surely gotten clobbered with the snow this year. Yikes!!
It seems like a full-time job.

Hang in there... Glad you are finding your humor_ and thanks for sharing it with us. We all need to laugh.!!
Hugs, Linda

Ken,
I hate to tell you this, but it doesn\'t get much better when they get older. You must have \"Irish twins\". That\'s what they call my grandsons, born 11 months apart. I had all the boys over last night, 11 to 6. Had a bunch of cleaning to do. Doorknobs are the worst, you don\'t realize it\'s dirty, till you grab it. They do make you smile, though.
Thanks for the video, great song, fits so well.

LOL!!! We had friends that had 2 kids and we used to swear that a tornado came through our house. i like your description better. Always hide the things with sugar or there will be no stopping them. Thanks for sharing that song, and it is so true. Funny, I have heard that song many times, but i never really paid attention to the lyrics. They should make a spiritual cruise for widows/widowers. Maybe it would be enlightening. I don\'t know. I have been looking up places to travel to, but the desire is not really there. Today was just a blah day. Hope your day is going better. I liked your story, it made me laugh :) Sending you a hug and take care :) Renee\'

I am glad that the house is still standing. When I have all five grandkids here ages 3 to 10 I think a good stiff drink prior to arrival is called for and a cleaning crew after they leave. Its always amazed me how much they can do is a short period of time. My youngest grandson age 6 discovered the nail gun, thanks to his father. Now thats a terrorist, I had nails everywhere. I revel in the peace after they leave. Congrats on getting the new sugar bowl, How is the grapefruit tree doing ? Take is easy, new storm on the way, Hugs Jane
