Oneday
Dearest,
I didn't really get going as early as I'd hoped. Fooling around and reading, when I did get to the store I was shocked! Apparently word haad leaked out that it was going to snow. In a total panic at not being able to get to the store for a few hours hordes of morons descended on the stores. Come on people this is New England! It snows! Duh! Some of the shelves were bare, couldn't get everything that I wanted, got what I needed though. I'll have to go back Bluesday and get the rest. It started snowing just as I was leaving the parking lot. I checked the weather, the weather people had kindly cancelled the heavy snow warning. Then put up a BLIZZARD warning! Being from around these parts, I know that means we stop talking about how many inches and start talking about how many feet we'll be getting. Damn! (Only 1' to 2' in the forecast)
The house smells like orange blossoms - grapefruit blossoms really.Oh, look what I can do! There's gonna be trouble now! I however smell like a landfill and am going to take a shower. Spent most of the day crying, not sure why, just missing you. Put seed out for the birds. didn't do much else. Did some of your paperwork, didn't start mine yet. Tomorrow looks like a snow removal day if the snow stops. Maybe I'll get some pictures. If I'm stuck inside I can work on the kitchen. Everything I touch that you touched reminds me of you.
Till tomorrow, Your Ken

that grapefruit blossom is beautiful. We are getting hammered here in NJ. More than 9 inches so far and the worst is supposed to come overnight. I don\'t know how I\'m going to manage this much snow removal. Makes me miss my JIm even more. sigh. Going to bed, maybe it will all be melted by the morning? hah!
Hi Ken, I can almost smell that grapefruit blossom. I think the crying is because it\'s December and because it\'s what we have to do. We all hate it, but it\'s something that we have to do to get through this tunnel. No snow here in Mississauga Ontario.....yet.
I know about all those warnings. Being from FL with hurricanes and all they start warning 2wks before and the shelves at the stores go completely empty people panic! Then it never happens...Hope you dont get snowed in completely. Love the pic.~Christi
I work in a grocery, and when a hurricane is even a week out, people panic and start buying stuff. It\'s usually junk food and water. I\'ve seen lines all the way to the back of the store. Hope some of the snow passes you by, but I know you will be prepared.

The picture is absolutely gorgeous. Hope you don\'t get hit with too much snow. Miss the smell of blooming orange trees and grapefruit trees. The crying......that\'s just part of it.
What a beautiful picture. I love the scent of orange blossoms, makes me think of my very first formal dance. My date and I were only 16 years old. He wasn\'t paying attention and ran a stop sign and got a ticket and we were parked right next to an orange grove while he was getting his ticket. Every time that I smell orange blossoms, I think of that night.
I hope that tomorrow is a better for you.
Hugs, Carla
Beautiful dainty white lower. Odd when you think of what it turns into. Biginnings can be decieving. I remember being stationed in NH when a noreaster hit. You have a long time residents attitude about it. What else can you say but let it snow iet it snow let it snow. Tell us what the total amounts were. What are you doing in the kitchen??? Hugs Jane
