Oneday

Dearest,
It’s cold again! Damn cold! Like in the teens. I’m tired of this, if you were here we’d be off to the Caribbean. I was chatting with Dan, Dan the preacher man. He seems to share your hypothesis that people outside of organizations are basically good. I, of course, disagreed. Even if they want to be good people they don’t want to be too good or too often.
Snow! They are predicting 4” – 8” by tomorrow afternoon, imagine that! That never happens!
I’m having a helluva time keeping up with all the chores around here. It seems I spend nearly all day doing chores. How does so much get so dirty so fast? It’s just me for crying out loud! I can’t get that much dirty.
Someone asked me how I could have a sense of humor left after all the crap that’s happened. I told them that it’s a choice. You get to chose how you deal with all the crap. You don’t get to chose what crap up with which you must put. (HA!) You do however get to chose how you deal with it. I, as you know, get angry and yell, then I try to find a funny side to it. Let’s face it, there’s always something funny going on. I could sit around and mope but what fun is that? I’d rather try to look at the funny side and try to find a little happiness, if only for the moment. Some folks would rather sit around and be miserable, and that’s fine, whatever makes them happy.
(I crack myself up)
Everybody is fine, people still ask after you. I weather-stripped your office window, you didn’t want me to, remember? I guess it doesn’t matter now. I’m going to return to the dream that I was dreaming.
Till the snow stops falling and the wind stops blowing,
Your Ken
