one year on

So this time last year I was in ICU and on a ventilator having just had a 10 hour surgery to remove my greater and minor omentum, my gall bladder, my right side peritoneal lining, my diaphragmatic lining, tumors on the surface of my liver, removal of a previous surgical scar and my belly button  and several adhesions on my intestines followed by heated chemo.
Today I spent the day skiing helping out with the adaptive skiing program here at Sunday river, it was rather bizarre feeling that this time last year I was in hospital. To the best of my knowledge I'm still cancer free long may it continue.
