One Year
Well...it's official!! It's one year I have been divorced. The past year has been full of trials and troubles and major challenges. I have had up days and down days, I have won some battles, and lost others, I've lost contact with my step-son, my oldest daughter was forced into getting married with no notice because of someone's selfishness concerning her nursing school financing, my ex meet another man, a within 60 days was engaged and within another 60 days was remarried, and according to my oldest who I am still very close to is very happy. I have gotten behind on my mortgage because with only one income I just couldn't handle everything and had my house foreclosed on, due to the foreclosure I left my job and moved back home to Wisconsin in February...since Feb I have had some of the most depressing days in my life...so much has happened in the past couple years and it just seems to keep happening...my dad dying, losing my job, my divorce, learning about my kids being abused by their biologic father and having to deal with that, my divorce, losing my house, losing what feels like everything... Now I need to focus on the positive...realize that I have to start again and figure a way to regain all that was lost. Is it impossible...??? No!! Is it hard?? Yes!! Anything worthwhile usually is a challenge or everyone would do it. Do I sometimes feel like I am not up to the task? Yup! Do I keep going anyway? Yup! Somehow I always find the way through...I always find the strength to keep going, I know where this strength comes from...sometimes I forget and lose hope, but then it hits me again...God is always with me and if he is for me who can be against me?? Sometimes I slip and fall and get depressed and down but I always get back up and keep going...What choice do I have?? You can either keep going or well....death just really isn't an option right now....LOL....and I don't believe in welfare... So I leave this out here for people to read and maybe take some hope in...yes there are the down days...yes it's not always easy and sometimes it just plain sucks...but get up, dust yourself off and keep going cowboy!! 'Cause in the end you'll win if you just keep riding...
