One sugery down, one more to go....
What was supose to be a 5 minute painless surgery, turned into the worst half hour of my life.Went in for a minor surgery, which I had done 17 years ago,and it had took 5 minutes and no pain at all.Well this time around, It was done at the hospital, the doctor even put the green sheet on my face, and had a small hole for the one eye.The nurse proceeded to freeze my eye, and then the Lady surgeon started her work. From the beginning it burn like hell, it was as if she was pooring hot wax on the surrounding area of the eye.I'm telling you, during the whole procedue, it was as if she was burning me withwax or a blow torch.Later I figure it was the lazor, to kill the root of the problem.I think, not even sure. The weirdest part is, the small cysts that was removed was approximately 1mm,that's it that's all, so you will never guess what came next, she says you have 2 stitches, WHAT, how can you put 2 stitches into this small affected area.Anyways, got out with a eye patch, and told to take it off later that day.So I was anxious to see what it looked like, so when I took off the patch, first of all the patch itself, had some really black charcoal stuff on the white gauze, which made me think of the wax I had thought earlier. Then looked in the mirror, I had a black eye, and that's not it, I had a small cut in my upper cheek, like what the hell was she doing there, it was in the corner of my eye, she was supose to be doing the work.Man oh Man what a trip. And the pain, my good Lord the pain of it all, but thank God 48 hours later, I practically have no pain this morning. The worst thing is, it's not over.On the 23rd I am going to get several cysts removed from other parts of my body, but thankfully it's not the same surgeon, and not the same hospital. This one is a biggy, if they do remove all of them, we are talking about 16 cysts, and they need to go and lazor them so that the roots are all gone, cause if the root is still there they grow back.So wish me luck on that one.On a brighter note, I FINALLY GOT MY NEW LAPTOP.I love it, it's soo nice to have a brand new computer. No more computer problemsYah!!!Have a wonderful day.MckenzieOne day at the time.

Glad you are feeling a little better after that torture. The new computer is some consolation, I know you have been anticipating it\'s arrival. I pray that all of your trials will be a blessing for you as you share the love that God has so generously given to you. Have a great day full of promise and adventure, God bless...
Thanks everyone for your concern and support.
I still have my black eye, 4 days later, and it is still quite visible, in fact it\'s worst than the actual day it came.
I dread friday, since it will be a much major surgery, but thank God I have the laptop will be able to bring it with me in bed.
since I will be confine until all the stitches are healed up.

Good grief Mck - what a nightmare - what did you have - a pterigium? (spelling\'s off, but it is a yellowish fatty deposit in corner of eye. My ex. has 1 removed - his cousins also had them. I have cysts (used to cut them out myelf, but cannot bend over far enough now to do it) One which grew on the Bartholin gland got infected, absesed - & I was off to hospital: it burst just as I was admitted with letter from my own Dr. - phew - the smell! I was under only 5-6 minutes & woke up with tube inside me. Saw specialist 2 weeks later - he told me genially that I didn\'t have gonohorrea! Replied that I knew that, I\'d had no relationship since i left my 1st hubby 7 months ago. \"Yes\" he answered, \"we know - We did a blood test on you!\" I now need a similar op. times 9 or 10, but don\'t think I can find a gynae to take me seriously - unless I say that I\'m gong to get married again!!!! - in fact, that\'s the best way of getting taken seriously. Do hope you are now healed up. Fond regards, JaneD.
