One Step Closer!
Well another step closer...or so I hope! Hysteroscopy and D&C went very well, so much better than I expected or than I could have hoped for! You know how worried I was about the anesthesia and anesthesiologist, well, I had a doctor I've never had before and he was really great. He was so reassuring and had a wonderful bedside manner. It really is amazing how a good bedside manner can make all the difference during times like this! Also, my fave doctor at my clinic was the one performing the procedure. It was quicker than expected, only 10 minutes! Dr. said my uterus was "very clean" and there were no polyps or fibroids, which was confusing since I know I had a fibroid that was discovered about 5 years ago (could it have disappeared?!) Also, on one of my previous sonos, they saw what they thought was polyps which made them want to do the procedure in the first place. In a way, I don't understand why I had this done in the first place but I guess its better to know my uterus is all ready for transfer and will make a good home for my totsicle :)
This procedure has got me thinking today about things.....I was sooo anxious for days leading up to this, and looking back knowing what I now know, I wish I hadn't been so freaked out! It makes me realize how much worrying goes into things beyond our control, and you'd think by now in this IF journey, I would have gotten the memo that there is just soooo much about all of this that is beyond my control. I think that is one of the most frustrating things with IF, that although we think we are doing all the right things and all the things to help us get those BFPs, a lot of times that means nothing. I know the odds are against me with my age, but I'm going to do everything in my power to keep fighting and hope to beat the odds and win this war with IF. I want to thank you all for your amazing support, some of you who are going through so much emotional turmoil, yet you reach out to support me. I can't tell you how appreciative I am for you, and for your generosity of spirit and kindness. Love to you all. xoxo

Yay! So glad to hear it went well. I was thinking of you. I am excited for your transfer of totcycles next!
GREAT!!!!!!!!
Wonderful news! Even when you know the worrying is silly that doesn\'t make it easy to stop!
Yay, so happy it all went great. I was waiting for your post all day. The best type of worries is the one you had for nothing. I don\'t think things could have gone better from what you wrote. You are one step closer to your goal.
I know how you feel, I\'m such a type A and the past 5 years have thought me a lot about trying to let go. I even got a chinese tattoo 2 years ago that\'s a nice proverb on the subjet.
Hope this is a sign of the great things that are to come. Can\'t wait for your FET.
Yay! Glad it went well and that its ready for totsicles!!!!!
So happy everything went well and yay to no fibroids or polyps. I feel your frustration too. I just had a 2nd saline sono to look for polyps bc everyone was saying it looked like I had one (also just had the 1st one 2 months ago) and still no polyps found again. You are a fighter and you have all our support and prayers to help end this fight! You are one step closer! Xoxo
Glad it went well....
Yay so happy to hear it went well today! Your little nest is ready now, bring on those tosticles! :)
Yay! :) glad it went great! Sending hugs and prayers :) yay!
Yay, glad it went well! Now you are ready for some totsicles!
AHHHH. But the best kind of worrying is the kind that was for nothing. Because that mean we got a great outcome. If something had went wrong, your worrying would have had a reason, and we don\'t like that lol. I totally agree that the \"out of our control\" thing is one of the hardest things to handle. I know for me it is, and that\'s why I do everything I can to try and \"help make it happen\" because I need to feel like i\'m in control of SOMETHING during this stupid process. So great everything looked good, and you are well onyour way toa successful FET!!
I\'m so glad the procedure went well and your uterus is ready for your embies!
As far as having no control, I am right there with you. I think that\'s one of the hardest things about IF to accept. As children we are taught that if we work hard at something and keep on trying it will eventually happen. This isn\'t necessarily the truth with IF. For some yes, for others no. It\'s hard knowing there is no clear cut path. We do everything we can, and that is truly all we can do. I like your optimism and your willingness to continue on. I am here for you.
YAY! Glad all went well! Waiting, wondering, and worrying...that\'s what we do!
Such great news!
Glad it went well! Now for good news with the FET!
