One pissed offkitty

I notice my kitty Zelda sqinty her eye lately and every time i try to get close to her she would run away from me and I haven't been able to pick her up.  I thought her eye was red but I couldn't tell.  My mom went to feed the kittys this morning and told me I needed to take her to the vet.  She has a really bloody eye but they say its an upper respiratory thing not really a cold so on top of her poor eye hurting she got her next set of shots since I was there.  If she had a cold they wouldn't have given her the shots.  but the poor thing is pissed at me right now I don't blame her.  I have to give her eye drops 3 times a day for the next three days.  At least her eye is not scratch or anything so we don't have to worry about vision problems.  She is eatting drinking sleeping and playing so she  is doing pretty good.  She is just staying away from me :P.  When I last brought her to the vet she didn't even weigh a pound I found her as a stray with stiches in from being fixed under weight straving and barely moving.  I took her in now she is almost two years old who is a little over 10 pounds. 
 
My pain level is pretty high right now I took two doses of my pain meds but I had to run errands around town today since I was up and awake after I drop my kitty back at home.  My ankles are killing me so I am going to put my feet up and just hang back and relax and keep an eye on Zelda.
