One of my feral kitties bit my hand
I haven't been on here much because while I was trying to get one of the feral cats to take to the vet she bit my hand up pretty good. It's infected but I did go to the ER for antibiotices and pain medication. Of course I first took Snickers to the vet before heading to the hospital. Snickers is in much better shape them I am.

OUCH! Sorry that happened. Was it the Momma Cat you were trying to get to the vet? I hope the kitty is ok now....and you too. Bless your heart for doing what you do for those kitties, even though that horrible neighbor has so messed things up for you. Please let us know how you and the kitty that went to the vet are doing.
Snickers is one of the mama\'s daughters. I\'m not able to touch mama at all. I had done this before with 2 other kitties that I was able to touch but Snickers for some reason was not going to go nicely.
My hand is doing much better, the infection is gone and now I just have to wait for the wounds to heal. Snickers is still not doing well as she has an URI and she gets it really bad in her eyes. They all have this virus but Snickers is the only one who has a break out during stressful times. All I can do is give her L-lysine and pray she gets over it soon. She is still eating and drinking water so that\'s a good thing.
you can order antibioitc from revivalanimal.com its in the fish section. its called fishmox, but its actually 250 mg of amoxicillen in a capsule, just like a vet would sell you for ten times the cost of the capsule. you put a pinch of the fishmox in a tablespoon of moist food in the morning and a pinch of the fishmox in a tablespoon of moist food in the evening. for TEN DAYS. works every time.
i hate when animals get sick and its that much more difficult when they are feral!
