One mystery solved

We had another incident with that silly sparrow being in the house. Fortunately my son was there and he pursued the bird until it went back out through the door. I was wondering why this bird kept winding up in the house after dark. My son said that it had been inside on yet another occasion when he had entered the house.  That's when the answer came to me. Since it seemed active whenever anyone came in, I figured that it probably had made a nest in the wreath hanging on our door. Sure enough, when I checked the wreath this morning, there was the nest with 4 eggs. No wonder the poor thing kept winding up in the house. Everytime someone opened the door, she thought that it was an earthquake. I removed the wreath from the door, but placed it on the bench on the porch, in hopes that the bird would not abandon it's eggs. At least now we can open the front door without being buzzed. I still tire so easily it's disgusting. Our mail box was coming loose from the post and I reattached it. This is a very simple job but by the time I had finished (approx. 7 minutes) I was just dripping in sweat and had to sit. I know things will get better, but it's still disappointing to see how far my stamina has fallen.  I guess it's a signal that I should kick back and watch the olympics. It's just that I've kicked back an awful lot this year.  I can't wait to get back to my old self. I have things to do. Be well,Tom

Gosh Tom, I really know how you feel. In our heads we can do so much but in our bodies, it is another story. Yes, watch those Olympics...I\'m doing the same. Isn\'t it amazing what we humans can accomplish? Well, umm, this human never did but u know what i mean. ;-/

Good find with the bird\'s nest! I hope Momma accepts here new location.

The Olympics...at least you have a variety of things to watch :)

I completely understand about wanting to get that to-do-list done. I keep looking around at all the things that need doing...it gets pretty depressing when you know that they have to wait another day until you feel more up to tackling them :(

Rest, relax...
