One more day finished
The day started good. I finally made it back to the school I help at. The kids were happy to see me and we worked on fractions. It kept me busy for an hour and that seemed to help me. Slowly though, the day wore on but I knew I just had to make it through this day. Tomorrow, I start again. Writing this helps. I don't seem to accumulate the pain anymore, I just start fresh each day. I miss you Jon. I miss your smiles the most. I had not realized how much your smile meant to me till I could only see them in the pictures. Thank god for the pictures. I truly hope there is an afterlife and that you are reaping all the rewards you deserve!!

In the beginning I felt I was living in the Groundhog day movie wake up hoping David was okay and it was a dream, try to stop crying all day etc.etc. and the next day do it all again, each day the same as the last just trying to get through it. Now I try to keep busy during the day and the nights are the worst, I still think of him most of the day but am okay with that until the darkness comes.
We miss our children so much but we move forward we have no other choice and they would want us to.
This is a very positive journal and I thank you for writing. You\'ve inspired me to start \"fresh\" today. I will try. I fully believe our children are alive and well. Kala\'s proven it to me over and over. I hope Jon will find just the right way to communicate with you so your doubts will fade. Take care my friend, Teri.
i am so very very sorry for the loss of your beautiful son. you are so new to your grief. please be kind and gentle with yourself. i admire you for going back to your job at this time. please, please take time out for yourself when you need to. this grief is incredible and raw. we are here for you. love, donna
I have always felt like work helped me...it provided distractions so that I just carried the sorrow with me...but it did not consume me while there. I think you are doing great. It is hard and remember, come home unleash the sorrow...if you need to and it will help you to get up the next day and go on. Love and hugs to you..Karen
