ONE LAST TIME
I am posting on here to say a final goodbye. I will miss coming on here and checking in on some old friends and occasionally a new one or 2.
I was recently hacked and long story a bit shorter I got suckered in even further so they now have access to my laptop and phone and ALL my info. I followed their instructions and as a result they also got into my bank info. I am out a substantial amount of money and an even more substantial loss of faith in people (myself included).
I will be wiping out my laptop and probably getting new phone and number, but am strictly limiting my contacts. (And considering I did also wind up coming across a few scammers on here too....years ago I doubt I will be back after the next couple days. Just hoping to connect with a few of you before I go.

sorry to hear. people can seriously suck sometimes and not even in a fun way. i'm barely on here myself any more but it was fun to see some of your stuff from time to time in regards to the sex on the brain type stuff. my better half i think would prefer a root canal over letting me touch her so we havent done anything really in more than a decade so seeing the flirty type posts on here where you guys would talk about your toys or whatever always made me smile so thanks for that.
sorry again you had such a rough go of things. i really really do hope things get better. i'll miss seeing you around but you gotta do what you gotta do to protect yourself so good luck with things. i know i'd never screw anyone over like that, i wouldnt even really know how to be honest but, if you ever need anyone to vent to feel free to give me a shout. i may not be able to offer any sage advice cause i'm kind of a dumbass but i can at least listen.

Oooohhhhh noooooo! What a horrible thing to happen to you! Can't even imagine what you have been dealing with and going through. I feel so bad for you. You have the most open, kindest, and compassionate heart. Your thoughtfulness and generosity will be truly missed. Not to mention your guidance! You have helped me through some really tough times, and in return, I hope I have offered you the same support. Don't want to see you go (I can't imagine this group without you), but I understand you need to do what's best for you. Wishing you all the best, love, laughter, health, and happiness!

I'm so sorry, Kim. Not everyone is a scammer, and I hope you are connecting in person with honest people who care about you. My Free Methodist Church is full of people like that, who have blessed me tremendously, and I wish that for you too. May the Lord help you recover from this loss and move forward to a better situation. God bless you. Sending prayers for you.

Yes Kim, I will miss you too. You were there for me when I first joined DS and was in a sensitive place. I’ll never forget how kind you have been and smart too. You have a real gift at seeing what folks are going through. Which surprises me that you were scammed. My guess is that some of the blind spot may have been your longing for connection. Please know that you deserve this in the rest world and I hope you are open to it when the opportunity arises.

Oh Kim I’m sorry that happened to you. Scammers are getting more and more clever with scamming. Wish you peace and contentment.
After all you've gone through, you certainly didn't deserve this. I am so sorry this happened to you.. I know how you feel. I had my identity stolen back in the spring. It really deflates you and your feelings about humanity. Some really sick people out there.
Though I haven't been on in many months, I will really miss you. You were an asset to this site and have many friends who love you. Take care, Kim. Things will get better. We will miss your intelligence, your wit, and certainly your love and care for people whose lives you touched.

Sorry to hear this has happened Kim, I take it you informed your Bank and the police , you should be able to change your phone number and run a piece of software called malwarebytes that should flush out any dodgy software.
Hope you get sorted out , and get some of your money back... :(
