ONE FOOT IN FRONT OF THE OTHER
5.15 am Woke up feeling foul, foul taste in mouth, sore jaw, sore joints....the list goes on. Hot shower helped a bit, but my face is scarlet this morning. Got dressed, piled on the makeup, took offspring to TAFE (he must have twigged mother was feeling horrible, because he didn't try to switch the radio station). Home just before 8.00 am, have now had breakfast and coffee and plan to achieve the following: Gather kindling and fill log baskets - enough for a few days (very cold nights and will rain for the next few days). Go food shopping, take library books back and refuel. Ironing, ironing, ironing......the pile in the laundry is in danger of toppling. Try not to think about crawling under my bedclothes and sleeping 'til this passes. The dogs will have to forget about a walk today, but I have played fetch - I sit on the garden bench, they do the fetching. Will see if I get any of the above done. My gorgeous husband is still away, but phones every day, we miss each other very much. Doesn't matter how bad things are - we make each other laugh - that's the best thing.
