I had my suppression check today and everything is on track. I am ready to go!
I feel more encouraged than I have in a long time and I've decided, no matter what, to stay POSITIVE! So, if you catch me in a funky mood, you have my permission, in advance, to pull me out of it! I'm counting on you gals to keep me in line.
My new protocol includes the addition of estrace (will hopefully thicken lining) and my RE is checking me on Stim Day 4 (a little early) to closely monitor everything. He understands how trying this journey has been for us and agrees we need to pull out all the stops and take a more aggressive approach.
Here's the protocol:
Birth control (7 days) - doneMicrodose Lupron - AM/PM injections through retrieval (start Thursday, June 3)DHEA - daily through retrievalDexamethasone (steroid) - nightly until HCG injectionAcupunctureStims (start Sunday, June 6 for about 10 days, depending on response) - Gonal F (350 IU) + Menopur (75 IU) AM injection; Gonal F (450 IU) PM injectionEstrace - 2x/dayAntibioticHCG injectionEgg Retrieval - tentatively scheduled June 16-18Vivelle patch - no instructions yet5-day embryo transferPIO injections + Crinone gelBeta
There's a possibility we may add vaginal viagra, if necessary. This is not covered by insurance, has anyone tried it to thicken the lining?
