on the road
I'm on my way back home after visiting my daughter in Seattle. I spent a week there and watched her graduation ceremony. I am very proud of her. I did a bit of driving today and have about a thousand miles to go. I am almost out of North Dakota. It seemed like it took forever to go through Montana.
Seattle is pretty this time of year. The flowers are out in force. The weather was nice the whole week I was there. It was the longest trip I've ever taken by myself. Chris

I\'m glad you had a pleasant visit. Was a huge undertaking traveling so far solo. Be proud of yourself. Stay safe on the highways.

Would you travel alone again? Did you stay in motels along the way? I am contemplating driving to Florida this winter for a couple months but not sure I want to drive alone. Any advice?
The farthest I have driven is 7 hrs to Pennsylvania, but I had the grand kids with me. Don\'t know if I could do it alone. Kudos to you!
I\'m glad you enjoyed your trip. I wish I had things like that to do so my mind would be busy. I am so tired of being sad but don\'t know how to change it. I\'m stuck in sad mode. Got to do something to change this. Tell your daughter congratulations on her graduation! I wish her well. Linda
I\'m home now. I drove 5300 miles all together. It was a grind and I\'m happy to be home. I don\'t have any advice, but you need a good car and quit when you get tired.
I went to the movie last night. I saw \"Inside Out\" at ten PM so I wouldn\'t have to listen to all the fireworks at my house. I haven\'t; gone to a movie by myself in many years. The movie is very good, very inventive, and a dazzling visual treat. I feel good about going out to see it.
