On the Mend Again
Well, I finally went to the doctor & was in & out of there in record time: half an hour! Got my zithromax prescription, which I filled after work, so now I'm in the healing process. Already my lungs feel less "heavy". Love the zithromax!
Halloween was officially postponed till Saturday in our town because of the snowstorm damage, but we had plenty of trick-or-treaters anyway. That's OK--better the candy on their hips than mine!
Had my son's PPT this morning, finally. Highlights: they need to re-iterate the oral test-taking; if they want him to only complete certain questions/problems, then they should only show those questions/problems (taking away the visual clutter & solving their problem--housemaster's idea, which was a good one); encourage son to at least write down bullet points in his written homework, so show that he's making some effort & getting some ideas on paper. Everyone was pleased with the forward steps he's been making & his grades seem to be all right. Just that homework completion thing! Hopefully, he can get a student tutor to help him with his written civics work.
Did most of the Boundaries work in the study guide today. Not as overwhelming as I thought it would be; she really does build on what you've already learned. I "liked" Karla Downing's facebook page because that's starting to have more content on it. Thru that, I discovered that she has many articles on EZineArticles.com. Some good stuff to read!
