On the eve of my children being taken away for good.

My oldest girl is extremely temperamental and has meltdowns - svereal times a day. Whenever she doesn't get her own way she'll call whomever and talks to them. The other day she phoned a professional who assumed she was being abused and so they called child welfare. (Every professional is bound by law the call child welfare is there is suspected child abuse.)
When my oldest girl is in her moods, she will say untrue things and things that she doesn't mean at all. When she is in a perceived hurt mood, she will go out and try and hurt others to seek revenge. This is my 10 year old.
Any suspected child abuse - children are automatically taken from the home - this would include my 3 year old girl too. 
I don't know what to do about this and I am dreading the day they come knocking but I am trying to prepare myself. My spouse thinks that Child Welfare would have been here already if that is the case and that is not true - they will respond within a few days to a month, month and a half. Maybe the assigned investigator is on holidays and will get to tis case when she comes back.
