On spring colds and allergies

I got myself a spring cold last week that just would not go away. It was a bad one with a fever of slightly over 100 degrees for a couple of days, lots of congestion, coughing, etc.. I cannot take over the counter meds more than a couple of times or it sets off stomach problems so after a week I finally went to the doctor. I have a respiratory infection complicated by allergies. Just when we are having beautiful weather and my yard is wreck from winter. I can not go out. BOO --HISSSS. Now on my third day of antibiotics my tummy is starting to hurt and diarhea is rearing it's ugly little head. It is so frustrating to treat one problem and create another. I try so hard to keep my Crohns under control and then something like this comes along that I can not control and it upsets my balance, my precious, delicate balance. I just hate it. This is one of those days I just want to go back to bed and stay there...
