One incident of many:
My best friend's wedding. I was the maid of honor. I was not "allowed" to even go to the bridal shower, but she was understanding. I was allowed to be in the wedding, but forced to leave the reception before it even got started because he started literally throwing a tantrum outside of the restaurant because these people were being rude and ignoring him. He just "knew" they were all talking about him (they certainly were afterward). Then when I was crying and devastated afterwards, laughed about what a jackass he made ME look like in front of my friends. I was the one who looked like an idiot and he bet these people would never want to talk to me again.
