OMG I KNOW MY PURPOSE!

God uses your dark times to help others. When you tell your story and how you got out of that being in a dark place or situation, it will help others and encourage them to talk to God and get out of their situation.

And through writing poems, I can reach and speak to these people. Just through simply words I can change lives for the better and bring them to or closer to God!

Reading yall comments on my last journal, I felt the shift in my body. I know my purpose and this is it.

Writing can be scary. You're exposing your inner most secret self. Believe me ik. You're good at it. We talked about that. Writing gets me through sometimes. Most of what I write will probably never see the light, but it helps. You're good at writing. We all write different and that's what makes us unique.

I just told Cali yesterday, I spend a lot of time listening to Bob Dylan. Most of his poems don't have a chorus or a hook. Im starting to write like him if you haven't noticed.

Im super happy you found something yk you can do to feel better. Were all different yet were all the same. Yesterday is just a memory and tomorrow isn't what it supposed to be.

Reading this, I thought of Romans 8:28. You're right - God does use our darkest moments to shape us in ways that we can be a light for others. Through your words, you provide hope to those who are struggling, or who are stuck in circumstances beyond their control. The fact that you do this while you are going through such a tough time yourself shows just how selfless and caring you are.

You mentioned in an earlier comment that being a bright light is hard, and I agree. Resisting despair, and carrying hope even when you are running low on it, isn't easy. However, light isn't about goodness or "perfection" - it's a condition that makes vision possible. When you act as a light, you aren't just making things brighter - you are helping others to see themselves, their worth, and a path forward.

You are going through a lot, and there will be days when you feel like it's all too much. Perhaps you'll even need someone to shine a light *for* you. Your light still matters because it's authentic. Your pain is deep and real, and so is your genuine concern for others. You write very well, and you're a kind-hearted soul. That's a powerful combination. Hugs.

Its not easy being the light. It comes from within and we have to put ourselves out there. For me it's physical. For you it's your inner secrets. Mine is too in a way, but the typical listener don't see it that way. Thanks for seeing that.
