older people
I get the biggest kick out of older people.!! I take my mother -in-law to a quilting class (they are a bunch of older woman who sew quilts for the needy) they are just a little assembly line doing these quilts one day a week. ) After they work for a while, they have coffee and talk. I tell ya i never laugh so much as i do in that hour. They are soooooo funny. I wish my Mom could look at life the way they do--they are the same age if not older than my Mom. My Mom thinks it is crazy doing that--she just can' t be happy.I try to get her involved in it----noooo way. My mother in law is 85 by the way---she just had to stop walking 5 miles a day. Clutter she had two hip replacements and recovered and went right on walking again.!!! She wanted to go to the cemetary yesterday to decorate the graves--she lost two daughters and a husband. It is so important for older people to do that. Then she likes to go out for a bowl of soup. That was my Wed. --and that is what i do every Wed.

That really does sound wonderful. Yes, older ladies can be the best! Once I taught the older ladies in Sunday School and we had the difficult topic of how to deal with sexuality as Christians. I figured they\'d be all conservative and I was trying to be sensitive to that. Then one of them says, \"Oh, it\'s not so different today than it was back then.\" Another one says, \"Yes, it is! We didn\'t dare...\" The first one shot back... \"Well, not in public, we didn\'t.\" I laughed so hard. I hope I can keep moving as I grow older. It\'s so hard sometimes even now to keep going. But it\'s important. I\'m glad you have these ladies. They keep everything in perspective.
