Okay already

Try to get ahold of the lawyer, he's in court or he's out of town or not available.  I paid him how much for what?  Call the jail to find out about visitation, you would think I was a criminal by the way they acted.  Do they not realize that it's not my fault my son is in jail??Had to get his car out of impoundment.  No, my name is not on the title nor is it on the registration.  Had to get power of attorney, so I get the form and take it to the jail to get it signed.  Guess what, the detention center has no notary.  Track one of those down that is willing to go to the detention center.  Finally find one, it takes 45 minutes for her to get in, get it signed and get it back to me.  The impoundment place charges by the day, people!!I only have a cell phone, so can not get collect calls.  Finally figured out a way around that, but my son doesn't know that, so he hasn't called.  Sent him a letter, who knows when he will get that.  Visitation for him is only on Fridays between 1 and 3.  I work full time, so now I have to take time off work.  Do I lie and tell them I have a doctor's appt so that I don't have to explain where I am really going?  No one at work knows what is going on.  Scream?  Hate to scare the neighbors.  Cry?  Hate to scare my other son.  Trying to hold it all together, but how long before I explode?

I have been doing this for 2 1/2 yrs and I still haven\'t figured out why they (jail/prison) people treat us the family and friends like dirt. The only thing I can think of is that it is a power thing and they want you to know who is in control. Scream...been there, Cry....been there lots....Hold it all together....sometimes very loosely. We\'re here for you and we care...love ya, sharon
