okay

Got back late last night from my trip back "home".  It was wonderful to be with my parents and most of my siblings.  I am one of seven - 4 girls and 3 boys.  All my sisters were there and boy did we have fun.......!!!  I needed a few good laughs ( I laughed so hard - I sobbed!)  One evening we got together to go through my grandmother's (who passed away about 8 yrs. ago) old photo albums.  As we went through them, we took the ones we wanted.  We laughed at the old boyfriend pictures and short skirts.  We recalled old times and fun times.  It was just what I needed.  And my parents .........they were in all of their glory having most of their children together........especially all of the sisters under one roof (my two brothers weren't' there).  And my parent's home is so lovely.  My mother is so talented with her decorating.  She keeps things fresh.....always changing and updating.  So lovely.....   It was great to be "home".   It was also great coming home to peace and tranquility.  I am told that T even called 15 minutes before coming home to say that he was on this way!!!  See .....it did pay off to make a stink about it.  We were both impressed by T's phone call.   My husband also did tons and tons of work around the house while I was gone.... and included the boys in on the chores, too.  He even cleaned out his closet, which he's been wanting to do for years! He also did laundry, finished our deck, vacuumed, ironed.......  I decided that I am going to go away every weekend from now on!    Today we do meet with the counselor.  I don't know what his credentials are but I have a feeling that he's going to be a waste of time.   Trying to keep an open mind, however......
