OK so far
I watched the interview yesterday with Sue Paterno and Katie Couric. Brought tears to my eyes! I am a Penn State fanatic. Went to Penn State. Was in the marching band. Went to 2 bowl games. Met Joe Paterno once. I haven't read all of the report yet that came out on Sunday but it blasts the Freeh report right out of the water! Hooray! Can't wait to go to the Blue/White game in April. They are having a big alumni tailgate party.
I have a small "spot" on my gums that needs to be removed. Dentist thinks it is nothing but best to be safe. It is a white spot, like scar tissue maybe? Who knows. It does get irritated sometimes.
I ate ok yesterday. 1580 calories. but gained .8 lbs anyway. I am ok with that. I am just getting started again. So I am at 165.8 lbs. I did 45 minutes of Wii Walk It Out yesterday and got in just over 10k steps. Logged ALL of my food. Maybe i will take the dogs for a walk later since the sun is out. (First time in what feels like weeks!) Has helped my mood a little today.
Westminster: Watched the Gordon Setter best in breed today. Total bummer. Flyer did not come in first. He was absolutely gorgeous!!!! but it was fun to watch online and to see Donna there. I will be watching Best in Group later for Sporting group and Best in Show. A lot of chats online, people like the Dachsund to win. Sorry, I may be biased, but I am a "big fuzzy" kind of person. I like the big dogs.
Got tickets to go see Cirque du Soleil show "Totem" on Camden waterfront in June. Looking forward to it. Going with my mom, friend, Paul and David. We are trying to get tickets to see "Noah" at Site & Sound theater in Lancaster. They actually walk live animals down the aisles!
here is something cool:
1) I have been using "MyFitnessPal" to upload & log my food. Their food database is AWESOME! It now links with my "FitBit" account! So my activity level gets automatically and wirelessly downloaded via my FitBit and synchs the calories burned to MyFitnessPal. I log my food into MyFitnessPal and it synchs with Fitbit! I now have both apps on my new fancy android cell phone (Samsung Galaxy SIII) And my FitBit steps synch via bluetooth right to my cell phone!
2) I am now figuring out how to "subscribe" to people's journals here and have updates sent to my Google Reader account I now have set up. Woo Hoo! Give me a few weeks to get everyone in there and get caught up, but I was SO upset that I stopped getting email updates and have been struggling with keeping up with people. AND, I also have a Google Reader app on my new cell phone! Woo Hoo!
Hopefully, I will be able to do better with my exercise and food tracking and also keeping in touch with people!

YOU SOUND LIKE YOU\'RE ON YOUR WAY. HOW NICE YOU HAVE THE PHONE THAT CAN DO ALL THAT. YOU WILL BE BACK ON TRACK BEFORE YOU KNOW IT.
ENJOY CIRQUE DU SOLEIL.
You can do Myfitnesspal online. You don\'t have to have the phone and the app, but it is nice to have the option of using my cell phone when I am on the road!

You are so computer savvy! I watched part of the Paterno interview and liked it.
My hubby and I missed the interview, unfortunately. He\'s a Penn State grad too. It\'s great to hear that you\'re getting back on track. You definitely have a great setup on your phone. I\'m still getting familiarized with my android, so I haven\'t downloaded a single app. Thanks for suggesting MyFitnessPal. I hope the small spot on your gums turns out to be nothing. Hugs, Judy
I also watched the Katie Couric show that day. I thought of YOU through the entire interview! Such a traumatic and devastating experience for everyone concerned. As Joe\'s wife said, \"We didn\'t know. How could we know?\"
