OK I will admit it I am scared

So a lot has been going on with my life, I am still dealing with the on goings with hubby's health. i was in a bind with school supplies this year and I am dealing with my things. For the last few weeks I have been dealing with some stressful events and I am having issues with my body. I am kinda feel pressure mostly on left side of my body. It will go away wioth warm baths and pain reliever but it does come back. I am also dealing with more stiffness and I am freaking out over any health related articles in the papers or internet. i am avoiding the tv and also my own beloved books.
I am scared something is really wrong with me but the last time I had went to the dr he couldn't find anything. I am not dealing well I want my hubby to take me to the er but because of gas issues and the fact we are broke we can't afford a trip and if I were to call an ambulance I would not know how to get home when they released me.
I wish i could explain this better but I really can't. I want help but I am scared of the hospital. What is wrong with me!!

Hang in there! Admitting you are scared is good. Accept your feelings and work on ways to calm down. It seems like a good sign if the pressure feeling goes away with warm baths and pain reliever. Keep moving when you are uncomfortable. Sitting still adds to musclse tension and exaggerates your pain. Try talking some walks or some simple yoga moves. Moving is good for you when you feel anxious. You are subconsciously holding muscles. Avoid the TV and the Internet-they are NOT your friends when you are anxious.

When is the last time you went to the doctor?

It has been a few months, with everything going on with hubby I have not been able to make an appointment. I am calling monday to set one up. I am gonna see what else I need to do for my fibro stuff.
My dr referred me to a therapist who removed me off meds and I am dealing with all this stuff without the help of meds. I also do meditation it helps but I just have days when I just can\'t calm down or am in too much pain for anything to help.
Thanks for responding and caring though. Sometimes I feel I am alone.

I am sorry that you are having pain on top of all your other problems. Do you have a friend or relative that could take you to the ER or pick you up?
I have church friends that take me to the neuro-ophthalmologist because he dilates my eyes every visit. If the weather is good I can sit in the car for the hours but Texas is just too hot in August!! Even in a good year. I lost my mother in June of 2009 and my husband in 2010. I am trying to take care of both homes until I get a buyer for mine. I have over 100 acres and I am too old, 65, to take care of it all. I hope that you feel better soon! Val in TX
